What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

There is no quick or easy path to learning more about your higher self and the true nature of this reality. No amount of reading, listening, or watching will get you there. You have to do the work. Rune provides resources and a comprehensive set of tools to aid you on your personal journey of self-discovery and magick.
The best place to start learning about magick is not on this site or by reading any book, but rather it is within yourself. We would recommend that you start a daily meditation practice, beginning with just 5-10 minutes and then gradually working up to 20+ minutes. On the surface this should be the easiest task in the world, all you have to is sit still and do nothing for a few minutes, but you will quickly be confronted by your ego and games it will play to keep you from discovering your true self. Once you are able to perform this fundamental exercise, we would recommend getting a good book on basic magical practices and then coming back to site to use it as a tool for enhancing your practices.
Initially, all you have to is sit still in a quite area with your eyes closed, pay attention to your breath and as thoughts come, and they will, observe them, but do not give them attention, and bring your mind back to your breath. That's it!
Breath mode is unique and powerful feature available in all exercises and rituals that can be selected from the options. It allows you synchronize activities with your breath by holding down the mouse button for an in breath and releasing it for an out breath (a wireless mouse is recommended, but not required). This mode is designed to synchronized with a standard "fourfold" breath.
The spelling of "magick" with a "k" at the end is traditionally used to distinguish it from stage magic.
Magick is often defined along the lines of stating that it is "the art and science of conforming reality to one's will." While we do not necessarily disagree with this statement, we have always felt that this declaration by itself is lacking something. To us Magick is a deeply spiritual practice and has as much, if not more so, to do with your internal world then any external phenomena. Perhaps a better definition would be that Magick is "the art and science of shifting one's perceptions and evolving one's consciousness."
Magick is neither good nor evil. Its best to think of in terms of a tool. A tool by itself does not have good or evil intentions, but, depending on the user, it can be used for either good or evil purposes.
Absolutely not! However, traditional ceremonial magick does make use the of spiritual entities commonly called "angels" that can be found in religious texts. If this makes you feel at all uncomfortable, feel free substitute the names with something more to your liking.
